Jon Schnepp is an American Director, Writer, Producer, and Host. Jon has created programming for Cartoon Network , FX, MTV, Nickelodeon,  SpikeTV, Machinima, Comedy Central, Collider, and Showtime.

Graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA, Schnepp went on to art directing MTV’s “Club Dead”, edit “Space Ghost: Coast to Coast”, and direct “The Upright Citizens Brigade” series. Jon then designed the animated band characters of Dethklok, and went on to direct 34 episodes and co-produce all 60 episodes of the megahit Adult Swim animated series called “Metalocalypse”, also directing the concert videos, and writing the “Metalocalypse” comic series. Schnepp recently wrote the three issue Dark Horse comic for the metal band Slayer.

Jon has also directed season 4.1 of “The Venture Bros.”, directed the “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” 3D Origin, directed episodes of Marvel’s animated “The Black Panther”, wrote the “Underworld” animated series, and directed the “W” segment for the feature film anthology “The ABCs of Death”. Schnepp wrote, produced and directed a Kickstarter funded animated pilot called “Grimm Fairy Tales”, followed by funding his first feature film documentary effort on Kickstarter, “The Death of ‘Superman Lives’; What Happened?”. He and producing partner Holly Payne premiered the film in 2015, and have toured the globe with the award winning film, as it was received with success by both critics and fans, They licensed it to Showtime Networks to screen it on their platform. Jon and Holly are producing a brand new documentary series for ComicConHQ called “What Happened?”, delving into the world of unmade films. They are currently in production shooting the series, debuting in late 2017.

Jon has expanded his career by hosting and appearing on several popular talk shows currently on youtube called “Collider MovieTalk” and showrunning the comic based “Collider Heroes”, talking about all the current pop culture news in movies, tv, and comics.
